WhatsApp links open a conversation; they never send a message automatically. A valid phone format does not verify a WhatsApp account.

QR codes contain your content directly. There is no tracking or redirect service. Generate a new code if your content changes.

Barcode readability depends on the format, print size and scanner. Keep the white margins and test before use.

How to make a WhatsApp click-to-chat link

  1. Select the country and enter the phone number registered with WhatsApp.
  2. Add an optional greeting or enquiry message.
  3. Select Generate WhatsApp link, check the preview, and copy the link.
  4. Download the matching QR code for a business card or printed sign.

For Instagram profiles, websites and business cards

A WhatsApp link lets a customer start a conversation without saving your number first. Place the link on a profile or website, or share its QR code in print. The message is only pre-filled: the customer can change it and must choose to send it.

Malaysian and international numbers

Select Malaysia for a local number beginning with 012, for example. LinkMint converts a valid local format to an international number using +60. For countries outside the list, choose Other and include the full international prefix. Formatting a number does not verify that it has a WhatsApp account.

Common questions

Can I change a printed WhatsApp QR code?

The code contains a fixed link. If your phone number or pre-filled message changes, create a new code and replace the printed version.

Does LinkMint send messages or save numbers?

No. The tool creates the link in your browser. Opening it takes you to WhatsApp, where you decide what to send. Anyone who has the link can see the number and pre-filled message, so only share information you intend to make available.
